Sad to hear the news of the passing of Michael Flynn in January.

Michael Flynn was internationally recognised as a figurative ceramic sculptor and for his singular ability to capture movement and sensuality in both his human and animal creations. Although he maintained his work was not intended to be ironic, it often portrayed a sense of humour and magic realism, but also an inherent mischievousness. Born in 1947 in Wuppertal, Germany, of Irish parents, Michael Flynn spent most of his life living and working in Cardiff. Michael Flynn was 77.
